first week of school has been really hectic, the new teacher for "tcm formulary" is simply just boring. she doesnt have any powerpoint slides and she writes everything she says on the board, so we are supposed to copy everything and listen to her at the same time. trust me, it's really not easy, especially with her messy handwriting (worsening by the day). imagine 5hrs of such lessons everyday, it just drains u out. To make things worst, our "immunology" lecturer is from italy and her accent is so strong tt I have to strain my ear to catch wat she is saying. The way I see it is that we are training our senses (vision, hearing etc) everyday. lolz.. One week of school seems like one month has passed. Who says that the first week of school is supposed to be relaxing...
To reward myself, my family went to malaysia for dinner on friday. It is certainly a rare sight to see 5 different nationality (referring to place of birth) in one car. Singapore (uncle); people's republic of China (mum, last time taiwan was referred to as tt); taiwan (sister); saudi arabia (me!); indonesia (sis bf). It was a sumptious dinner!! stingray, lala, crayfish, kangkong, wild boar meat, toufu all for juz less than S$10 per pax! To quote from my mum, "ren2 sheng1 zhe yang4 jiu zhu2 gou4 le". It was a tiring week for her too, first week of pre-nursery has never been easy for the teachers. children crying everyday from start till end of lessons (until the whole face turned red). I really see my mum as a role model for me, she's just such a superwoman, raising 3 kids singlehandedly and still able to provide the level of comfort tt we are enjoying now. tts y i respect her so much.
for now, i think health is really the most impt thing in life. so i really hope dear dear will get well really really soon!! =) sorry for nt being able to take care of u when u are sick and not being able to spend more time with u since school started. i will find a way to manage my time better and hopefully we can spend more time together! so dun let ur thoughts run wild for our hearts are always connected no matter how seldom we see each other. =)
oh, i forgot to mention something. dear dear rented a mazda 3 for the weekend coz his car is still in repair. it is my fav car and he is giving me a chance to drive it to school tml!! so exciting but abit scary coz i've always been driving a smaller car.. hahaz.
ok, back to work. got so many assignments due by end of jan tt i cant wait for feb to come.. CNY!!
