today is such a boring day.. settled all my foc welfare matters today.. emailed sponsors and caterers and subcomms... now hafta wait for their replies le. i hope they reply me asap!! coz i leaving for taiwan next mon le. dunwan to pile everything up.. anybody gt any lobangs for caterers tell me k! i will really appreciate it..
these few days were really fun.. finally met up with my girlfriends for a swim last sun.. went to waterplace condo (my aunt's condo).. they were all late la.. zzzz. as usual.. lucky it din rain at kallang coz it was raining quite heavily in the north and we were contemplating to postpone it.. it was fun swimming with them, but i din noe twin dunnoe how to swim! so she juz soak herself in the water while we swam a few laps.. ying is so shen! she swam like 8 laps or so, while me and xiaomei decided to give up after 4 laps.. sooo tiring..
den we went over to the kids pool. played with those water curtains and the water is freaking cold! ying was reluctant to go thru those cold "curtains" so i dragged her along! woah.. shiok.. while twin and xiaomei enjoyed themselves too. den we took turns to play with the slide.. for half of it, we muz manually push ourselves along.. rather stupid looking.. and they kept laughing at me coz i couldnt see a thing if i dun have my goggles on.. they were like "tt daddy sooo cute" and keep commenting on all the ppl there..
then we went to the jacuzzi.. they are all so sensitive to hot water!! i went down like normal while they took like ages to come down.. they were complaining the water was way too hot but i tot it was alright leh.. their skin too thin la.. then we began our photo-taking session! chit-chatting half the time and simply juz enjoying ourelves.. there was this v cute ang moh small kid, but she din want to smile for us to tk pics of her.. lol.
after shower, it was more pic taking before we headed off for dinner. ying drove and we were so indecisive as to where to have dinner.. finally decided on ecp hawker and we were super lucky to get a parking lot the moment we got there.. hurrays! so we ordered all the sinful food, chicken wings, carrot cake, stingray, hokkien mee, popiah and coconut juice!! so heavenly...
went home after tt coz parking there was expensive.. on the car, it was more chit-chatting and i had to explain my joke to them.. y everybody dun understand my first joke tt i posted on my blog.. too intelligent.. hahaha!!
ying was super nice to send us all home although it wasnt really on the way.. she had to do a detour.. and twin was complaining most of the time! lol.. when i gt home, my family was watching the charity show to raise money for the china earthquake.. i watched abit and decided to donate my earnings from the belaying job.. encouraged my sis to donate too! it was for the kids whom have lost both parents to the earthquake and oso for the rebuilding of schools. this disaster had a much bigger impact on me compared to others, dunnoe y.. maybe bcoz it was of much similarity to the earthquake tt happened in taiwan years ago.. i was more connected emotionally and felt the urge to help them thou my efforts werent huge.. thinking back, it was kinda scary.. on tt day, an after-quake happened at ard 4pm plus in china.. even beijing felt the tremors.. imagine tt happening to spore and we were still happily swimming and enjoying ourselves.. we shld be glad tt we are strategically protected, but life is juz so unpredictable.. treasure everyone ard u for every moment!
ok.. not to emo too much.. anw i swam on sat too! juz tt it's dry swimming.. lol. played mj with huiyun, her cousin and ying jin.. they were crazy!! we played for 5 rds can u believe it.. played from 6pm to 6am.. from last train to night rider to first train.. lol.. but i was winning so i din have the say.. played until the songs on the radio kept repeating.. longest i have played since i started mj-ing... but not healthy for the body la.. got scolded by my mum.. hahaz.. but nowadays i m not so addicted to mj anymore.. i wait for ppl to jio me, i dun go ard jio-ing ppl le.. maybe too much mj during this period, or maybe i found more fulfilling things to do..
ystd was another fun-filled day!! went out with wee meng.. we met at city hall and went to lunch at the much-talked-about shokudo jap food bazaar. they adopted the marche concept and it was not too bad.. ate until super full! and it was v nice of him to treat me to ice cream (kept to his promise) and rosti.. we had 4 flavoured ice creams! shuang!! one of them was black sesame and we kept wondering wat will white sesame taste like. lol. it was super funny.. laugh until crazy.. next time we confirm muz go try wat white sesame taste like!
den we wanted to go catch a movie at marina square.. coz wo ji bai nian nv watch movie le.. lol. inside joke.. but there were only like 4 movies screening at tt cinema.. and all wasnt nice.. pathetic.. so we decided to bowl instead. and we really make lousy liars.. first we wanted to lie tt he was under 21 so he cld use the student package too. but failed, after which we realised student pass gt no D.O.B la.. shld have juz bluffed.. then we wanted to lie tt i was wearing socks when i was wearing heels.. so he said we were both wearing socks when the person asked, but i din hear his reply and the person asked again. so i tot the person was getting suspiscious so i said i wasnt wearing socks.. lol!! so we failed at both attempts.. so super funny again.. so we bowled 2 games and it was damn fast. coz only 2 ppl playing.. i deproved super alot, coz i think the ball was too heavy and my thigh hurts now from the bending.. really too long nv exercise le.. first rd we scored 55 and 99 respectively.. v nice numbers.. then 2nd rd we scored 67 and 97.. nice numbers too.. then i said "my score had a difference of 12 and we were at lane 12.. it was all planned" lol.. then he said i really everything oso can link sia... but the ppl playing beside us was pretty irritating coz they tried all kinds of style to roll the ball and bcoz they were to our right, they had the right of way if we were preparing to bowl at the same time..
was still pretty early so we decided to go shopping! GSS! i bought two tops, one from zara and one from topshop.. and bought two sandals (flats), one from C&K, one from D&C.. shiok!! shopping spree.. finally found my flats.. been looking for it for sooo long le.. but now abit broke le.. spent ard 100 bucks ystd.. wallie was nice to shop ard the ladies section together with me.. he gt pretty gd taste too wor.. provided suggestions while i tried on the clothes.. he was looking for shirt and saw some pretty nice ones, but he said he will buy next time.. den i said goodbye to him and met up with my family.. wallie, u know my sis and my mum said u look totally diff from the last time they saw u.. haha. i tot u din change at all leh.. and the funny thing was i lent him the wrong season of grey's anatomy.. he wanted season 4 (which was y we met in the first place).. next time if i gt den lend u k!
den went to eat dinner at riverside indonesian restaurant at clarke quay.. louis wanted to treat us coz he haven treated us since the time he gt his first pay.. food was nice but was too full! ate until my limit.. thanz louis!! met his sister too.. helped her solved a sudoku puzzle on her nintendo ds.. lol.. have been wanting to get it since a few months back.. but kept thinking whether it was worh it.. anyone wanna buy one for me for my bdae?? i will definitely love it! i can half sponsor it if it is too expensive.. lol..
then we took cab home.. the taxi stand at central is so weird la.. it's at basement one.. and there will only be taxi if the concierge helps u to dial for one.. and u hafta spend more than $30 to get tt service.. anw, a well-spent day!! tml will be meeting my girlfriends again for dinner! yays...

got so many things i wanna blog abt but i feel so tired now..
18th may, sun
went to amk market to eat breakfast with my mum today. it has been a long time since i did tt. a great feeling indeed.. but it's oso been a long time since i woke up tt early. normally i wld wake up juz in time for lunch.. tts how slack i have been this hols. lol.
went back home and played mj with family.. i knew my mum loves to play this game so i reserved the time for her and we had fun in the process. juz as i was about to rest after the game, gt a call from kat and as u wld have guessed, another mj session. this time went to liangmin's house. my first time there and they decided to play bigger stakes tt night. so we played 50cents $1 mj. woah! my first time playing tt and it was kinda exciting. gaming 1 tai is gd enough for such stakes. but i kinda enjoy 20 40 mj better. more relaxing..
at tt time, the tv was showing programs raising money for the ppl in China who suffered from the earthquake.. it was so disheartening but at the same time heartwarming to see so many ppl gathered together for a common cause.. to help the ppl in need, regardless of their nationality.. it has indeed been a disastrous yr, myanmar alone was bad enough, now it has to be china.. aint 08 supposed to be a blissful year? do u know the day tt the earthquake struck, it was juz nice 88 days from the Beijing olympics which is taking place on 08/08/08.. how scary can tt be.. maybe it was all predestined. may all those who lost their lives to the nature rest in peace...
after the mj session, i rushed home to go to the temple with my family. bcoz it was past midnight and it was Vesak day. guang ming shan was flooded with ppl so we decided to try other temples but they were all not open. so we went back to guang ming shan and finally gt a parking slot. went in to pray but din stay for long coz my sis legs were feeling painful. she got some problem with her knee such tt it hurts whenever she tries to bend it when walking the stairs. recently, she gt some problem with her chest too.. having difficulties swallowing food, sometimes even drinks. went to do a X-ray but results came back positive. doctor suggested further analysis if the problem still persists after eating the medicine. haiz.. i think she might be too stressed up or tired from work. hope she recovers soon!! health is still the most impt..
19th may, mon
went to malaysia again to top up fuel and eat breakfast.. feeling totally tired to wake up so early again, esp since ystd i only managed to sleep ard 2am after the visit to the temple. after the morning trip, i went for my kbox session with sec sch friends! back to amk kbox and whoo, there were so many ppl! luckily we got ourselves a room so the 5 of us started singing. it was my first time singing with shimin and kel.. shimin's voice is good, pretty high pitched.. kel'c voice is versatile, sounding most like ah du, but at times he sounded like li sheng jie too.. nice singing with them, but they were more of the singing type than the crazy type. lol.. and we keep forgetting the name of the artist who sang the duet with li sheng jie.. now i finally kept it in my mind.. he is called lin long xuan.. i bet jialiang cant rem already.. lol. they started to chase us out at 6pm coz they told us beforehand tt due to the crowd, kstudent tt day was only until 6pm. but we insisted on staying until 7pm. hahaz. they only came in twice to remind us tt time is up.. uz as we were abt to sing our last song, they cut the song off. hahaz.. it was abit pass 7pm then. i think they gt pissed trying to chase us out.. so we din get to sing our last song "one night in beijing".. i was tt close to breaking my record of singing till there was no song on the list.. but we had fun! k again soon anybody??
20th may, tue
went to work today.. a one day belaying job recommended by sebas.. alot of ppl was like "huh, wat is belaying".. a belayer is someone who tk carez of the safety of the climber.. u know those ppl who do rock-climbing, there is always someone below to tighten the rope so tt he wun fall.. tts the job of a belayer.. muz be certified to do tt wor.. luckily last time in hc oac, we took up rock-climbing courses. i am now a level 2 certified climber.. next time got such lobang can find me.. it's quite fun.. not the usual boring office jobs.. woke up at 530am!! it has been ages since i woke up tt early.. even during sch time, i din have to wake up so early.. drove to CDANS at bukit gombak.. b4 tt, went to buy cofffee and tea for sebas and shiwei coz they spent the night there. was kinda shocked when i saw the parking fees at tt place, but was relieved when the camp chief passed me a complimentary ticket.. how nice of him..
reached there ard 7am as i was told, in the end they started only ard 8am!! could have slept for one more hr la! grrr.. so my day as a belayer for those pri sch kids started.. girls from Haig Girls School were on a one day enrichment trip i think.. they did all the rope elements and i was the belayer for the rock wall, together with shiwei.. they used static ropes for ur info! it was so painful to grab and pull the rope.. if i have known, i wld have brought along my gloves.. now i've gt 2 blisters on my left hand.. and it was really tiring to belay for 6hrs although they are juz pri sch kids.. earned 70 bucks for the day and got to know more ppl. not a bad experience at all! unique job experience and fun-loving ppl!
21st may, wed
blading day!! finally after a much awaited week. coz last tue or wed (cant really rem) it rained, so we had to postpone our trip to ECP to today.. went on a blading trip with my uni classmates.. it has been ages since i last blade.. cant rem the feeling and fell the moment i went down the first slope. lol. but it was fun.. total falls count = 3.. not tt bad!! the guy at the rental shop keep talking to us, more of flirting i wld say.. coz we had 7 gals and only 2 guys.. and most of us arent really tt gd at blading.. so off we went! went to the rim first to get a hang of the blades.. then headed off to the main path.. our destination was supposed to be the jetty.. but we were too slow to reach it in the 2hrs time span.. it was funny to see how meiling and eileen blade.. they were new at it and falls count was soaring.. lol.. but we definitely had fun!! the sun wasnt blazing and it was windy, great weather! can check out my fb for photos.. too bad my phone low batt, if not could have taken more photos!
went to parkway parade to have our dinner and the mee rebus store at the foodcourt really has super huge servings! they tasted nice too according to my friends.. next time can try if u are there.. after dinner, i decided to go to yin yue's hall at ntu to watch soccer.. more ppl, more fun.. soccer was at 245am so before tt we had plenty of time.. played mj at her bf's room.. they were a funny bunch of ppl and they all have the same accent and kou tou chan.. muz be er3 ru2 mu4 ran3.. interesting.. anw i ended with a 5 tai! and it was bao1 wan zi already. his friend still threw wan zi. i was stunned when i saw it.. cant believe tt i still can win.. but he was the only person winning at tt time. so after he bao me, he still won! not tt bad la.. and bcoz of tt, i came back from losing to win..
then it was soccer time!! champions league finals.. Man U is the winner again!!! so happy for them.. first half was a blast.. with so many golden opportunities but it ended up 1-1.. i muz admit tt man u dominated the first half, but chelsea dominated the second.. it was a great match tt came down to penalties.. penalties is all abt luck and of coz skills.. it was raining pretty heavily at tt time so it added on to the pressure.. and my sixth sense told me tt ronaldo will miss it, and guess wat, he really did! so disappointed.. he was lucky tt terry slipped for the last penalty and provided man u with anoter glimpse of hope.. van der saa saved the day!! hurrays to him.. it was really heart pounding and dramatic.. the ball hit the goal post twice for chelsea.. juz not their day i would say.. but it was a well-fought match except for the foolish red card tt drogba got.. it was really so much more exciting and fun to watch soccer with so many ppl.. supporters for different sides in the same room.. if not it wld have been juz me cheering in my own room... drove home after tt.. as usual, i enjoyed the feeling of driving at night.. so carefree.. not forgetting to keep a lookout for police cars at times.. lol..
22nd may, thurs
tonight was american idol finale! i was quite disappointed tt david cook won the show thou both the davids were marvellous.. david archeleta (dunnoe how to spell) is such a talent.. at only 17, he is capable of owning the stage and grabbing everyone's attention.. so always pursue ur dreams coz u can nv predict wat will happen tml! dun live ur life with regrets.. if u failed, at least u tried..

since tt day i saw u at the meeting and the gathering.. everything juz seems so weird now, awkward and stuff.. we avoided eye contact and din speak a word. maybe like wat sik said, give it some time and things will be fine.. but i m glad to see u looking more decent now..
on my way home from the gathering tt night, i kept thinking... then i saw juz a single star in the sky, how lonely it muz be feeling.. but still able to shine so brightly.. and decorated the dark blue sky so perfectly.. when i walked along the path from the mrt to my house, i recalled tt funny joke tt we shared the other time. laughed until i teared then.. but now is only tears ba..
as usual, the path had quite alot of cockroaches, and it reminded me of the fact tt u used to say i am so cockroach-sensitive..
den there was this weird guy walking infront of me, singing to himself.. i was kinda scared then coz it was already near midnight.. it feels totally different to be walking home alone at late nights. i rem how u used to walk me home even during the day.. but my thoughts overwhelmed my fear..
i was thinking abt the prawns tt shuling shelled for me during the steamboat.. they tasted nice but reminded me of u again.. coz tt was the exact place where we had steamboat too the other time.. juz diff scenarios now..
juz my random thoughts.. not directed at anyone nor trying to convey any message.. juz some silly thoughts in my mind ba..
it has been all drama-ing lately.. watching this hk drama "zui mei li de di qi tian" on tudou.. pretty nice show. thanz for the recommendation sik! but i shall start on my research paper next week.. (hope so) lol..
thurs night i had two gatherings at the same place same time. so qiao right? one was with sports comm ppl while the other was with my OG gajuga.. had steamboat dinner at this air-con steamboat place in bugis. was quite fun to switch between the 2 tables, not neglecting either side. as usual, i enjoyed the gossiping session with shuling. hahaz. now u muz agree with my saying tt "*** guys are *****" right. hahaz. only those hu know me well will know this phrase ba. but we din have enough time to finish gossiping.. hahaz. catch up with u next time!! gajuga side was of coz fun and full of laughters.. they were planning to have a picnic session but kept digressing tt nthing much was settled in the end. lolz. and i found a new corn partner! shuling! hahaz.. but i am still fascinated by the way june eats her corn. so cute.. so glad to have all these friends! =)
fri night was none other than mj again. lol. this time with sik, jl and huiyun. my faculty senior.. got to know her thru ISG netball. she was from anderson sec too, wat a small world right.. ying, dunnoe whether u know her.. she was in anderson netball too! 2 yrs older than us.. i tot it was more of a crapping session than mj-ing session. lol. they are sooooo funny la! laugh until my jaw pain.. with jl ard always cannot stop laughing one.. in the end we spent 5 hrs playing 2 rds, still hafta rush for the last train home. but i seriously enjoyed the process more than the gambling aspect. sik still cant end his losing streak! omg, dunnoe how long since he returned from NZ le. gambatte leh! anw the last train was to amk so i tried my luck to see if there was still bus to bishan, but apparently not. so sik and i decided to go eat supper instead. since no diff. went to eat roti john and some prawn fried rice (forgot the name, but it's quite a funny name) near his house.. so many memories there with anderson sec and of coz him (not sik, lol).. we ate for quite long i think, talked abt uni stuff and abt the future and so many other things la. brought up my thoughts again abt how i regretted not going overseas to study dentistry.. but too little too late la. i shld make full use of wat i m doing now.. he most prob will be studying in NTU too, acct and biz double degree. new course, if not i wld have seriously considered tt too.. i treated him to the supper (act is he treated himself, coz the $ was from the mj table).. lolz.. then he walked me to anderson bus stop coz my mum went there to fetch me. on the way, there were super alot of cockroaches!! so scary la.. my eyes were on the floor most of the time.. but sik was quite sweet to keep a lookout for me too.. he wld walk on the side where there are cockroaches and warn me if there is one ahead.. gentlemently wor! but kinda reminded me of him.. anw, had great fun and really thanz to my mum for fetching me at tt kinda weird timings.. it was already 2am plus then i think.. she's still the best!
going for jc gathering later.. at city hall again! omg, been there 3 to 4 times this week i think.. so many gatherings lately but it's fun! meeting up with all the old friends and spending time together..

been wanting to change my blogskin for awhile, but lazy to get down to it.. still hafta figure out how to use the html thing.. xiaomei help me desgin a blogskin leh.. muahahaaz.. okz.. update abt my interesting holiday life again.. (twin, keep u entertained.. lolz)
fri went out with my gals!! twin, xiaomei and xian.. went to bugis to shop for awhile first before settling down for dinner.. i really hate shopping at bugis street.. so crowded and HOT!! act it was only twin hu was v interested in shopping there.. xian and i juz kept trying to find fans and aircon.. lolz. part of the shopping aim was actually to find mothers' day prez but end up we gt stuffs for ourselves! i gt an "eternity moment" perfume and xian gt a bag.. twin gt too much stuff to list here la.. lolz.. but the 2 of them keep complaining abt each other and poor me juz there to listen.. hahaz. lucky xiaomei came and we acted like strangers not knowing them..
finally it was dinner time! we decided to eat at sakae coz it was suitable for xiaomei and the queue seems alright.. BUT when it was our turn at the front of the queue, it seems like eternity before we got our seats.. (maybe coz i bought "eternity" perfume.. ok lame.. juz ignore me) and we had lots of fun laughing at the ns guys at the first table.. they ordered so much food and twin was complaining cant they eat faster so we can get our seats.. it was quite a hilarious scene..
den xiaomei needa go to the florist for awhile so twin accompanied her. xian den updated me abt the two of them since i knew they will be unwilling to talk abt it.. the 2 of them are really so innocent or maybe juz deeply in love.. twin says her prob is settled and i really hope so. as for xiaomei, i hope she gets a satisfactory ans in 3 weeks time and not juz another ans to prolong the agony.. love is like a double-edged sword.. it can bring u so much happiness but u nv know when the sadness will come into play. u might already be so deeply in love then tt u juz cant pull it out w/o hurting urself. or it might juz be a superficial wound bcoz u dun have the courage to fall deeply in love again.. i juz hope the 2 of them are fine and happy! (esp xiaomei..)
after dinner we sat around the fountain and chit-chat.. it was really nice to juz sit around and talk with them. the feeling is juz so nice.. (except for the ppl smoking ard us! irritating) juz like the old anderson sch days, so huai nian.. we should meet up more often! guess we will have a beach or ktv session soon??
sat and sun was dedicated to my mum!! sat my mum and i spent the night at home.. nothing much to do so we decided to sing ktv!! it was fun.. she trying to sing the songs of my years and i trying to sing the songs of her years.. and i got to learn the whole of "che1 zhan4" in hokkien!! yeah, now i know more than juz a line in tt song.. next time can go kbox to try it out.. so excited.. lolz.. we sang duet songs too, like "wu yan de jie ju" and "ping ju".. and duet hokkien songs like "shang xin jiu dian".. it was funny how i tried to catch the han yu pin yin for the words.. it's been long since i last sang with my mum, she has a really good voice! it was an undescribable feeling.. juz so heartwarming..
den we watched the channel 8 movie "guai wu"... so scary! but my mum was like it's juz a movie, they are all humans.. so calm.. hahaz. while i was covering half my face with the pillow.. wat a wonderful night spent!
sun was mothers' day! happy mothers' day mummy!! it was an eventful day spent of coz with my dearest mum! went to malaysia for breakfast or i should say brunch.. a usual sun routine for my mum juz tt this time round my sis and i joined her..
den we went to amk hub to watch "dance of the dragon".. Jang Hyuk was quite cool in the movie.. he knows both dancing and nan quan.. he was the focus of the movie rather than fann wong.. mum wanted to catch it coz it was about dancing and she wanted to see how fann wong learnt how to dance in juz 3 months.. ended up there were juz a few scenes in which she danced coz her role was an injured dancer in tt film.. there were v few dancing scenes in the movie as a whole and i was quite eager halfway thru the movie to ask mum wat dance they did in the movie.. at the end of the movie, someone shouted "ye3 tai4 nan kan le ba".. i tot it was v bad of them. although the movie was not tt great, it was alright to me.. it was more of the emotional type than the action packed or interesting storyline type. but i muz agree it was too slow-paced at parts.. oh.. and we had kachang puteh during the film and it was the first time mum ate kachang puteh.. she had those nuts before but not in this style..
dinner was at serangoon country club jumbo restaturant, together with adrian and his parents. the food was really nice but the serving was too big.. we brought along the cheesecake tt louis gave to my mum, it was delicious, but would have tasted better if not for the fact tt we were too full. mum gt our necklace prez and of coz movie and dinner were on us too! wat a wonderful weekend right.. family are still the most impt ppl in my world! love u mum!! =)
sun night was of coz soccer time!! man u are the premier league champions!! full steam ahead to moscow! it was quite a nervous match esp after chelsea oso scored a goal.. man u din really play well but thanz to ronaldo's penalty and gigg's goal, they managed to secure a win against wigan.. ronaldo is soooo cute la.. u shld c his expression after his free kick was saved by kirkland.. even the commentators said not every referree will give in to ronaldo when he sulks.. lolz. i finally settled down after the second goal by giggs, it definitely meant alot to him i guess. before tt, heskey's header was so close... phew.. all the way man u & get the champions league trophy!!
gt a postcard from my eldest sis who is now in europe touring.. she seems to be enjoying herself there and i m looking forward to listening to her stories and looking at her photos when she comes back! tk carez sis!

i dunnoe wat i m doing online now, got nothing to do but juz dun feel like sleeping. so many things happened lately, both sad and happy, sad maybe not to me but brought up some sad memories too.. i think this is gonna be a super long post, juz feel like typing so mayb will update the activities i had for the past few days since it's been long since i did tt.
lets start with happy stuffs! finally ended paper on 29th april and we had a class chalet right after tt. how happening right! i m gradually starting to feel tt our class is quite a crazy and fun batch after all! it was a 2 days 1 night chalet at aloha loyang. had loads of fun!!! but the checking in was funny. my friend forgot to bring her mum's ic for check-in so she needed to go all the way back home (serangoon) to take it. and it was kinda rush so i gave her a lift back and i claimed 15 bucks from the pool of money tt was collected for the chalet. hahaz. petrol fee.. it was kinda funny. then we started the fire and waited for ppl to come as we took turns to bbq. then our tcm teacher came, it was surprising to c her, coz i tot she wun be interested in such stuff. we had a really amazing class photo! woah! can check out my facebook when i upload it.. den it was the usual mj and cards session... besides tt, junie, meiling, yingshi, brendon and i had a cozy chit-chatting session.. it was really enjoyable. so relaxed and juz talking about eveything under the sun. really got to know them more & time flew past as we talked. it was morning before we knew it and after we checked out, we went for ya kun breakfast at white sands. it was another talking session with abt 7 ppl. we were complaining about the sad life we have. our course is really a killer. we had either a test or an exam every 2 weeks for our yr 2 life. how stressful and draining can tt be. cant imagine beijing. i hope i can come back in one piece (lolz, abit exaggerating).. but it was a fantastic feeling sitting there aimlessly and juz chit-chatting. i think we sat there for pretty long and nobody wanted to move bcoz we simply juz enjoyed the feeling after such a killer sem... cant believe we survived yr 2. a pat on the back for everyone!
to add on to the joy, man u won the champions league semi on tt day! so now is the showdown between man u and chelsea! waiting for 21st to come... abit random.
so the habit of sleeping during the day begins.. (which explains y i m still online now) i have been sleeping so late recently tt i wake up juz in time for lunch. anw, another late night was bcoz i sent my sis to the airport tt night at abt 1am? she was going to europe for her graduation trip with her friends! we went to eat ba cuo mee at bedok 85 before going to the airport. her bunch of friends are really suuupper crazy.. and i emphasize the word super.. there juz aint a sec when u cant hear their laughter. but it was really fun meeting them. imagine 10 June gathered together.. hahaz. if ur know who June is. no offence thou, it's a good thing. they juz lighten up the whole atmosphere. so happy for my sis now tt she has graduated and found a job at IRAS! so now both my sisters have a job and they have lovely bfs too (whom oso have jobs).. i think they are soon set to get married?? lolz. they juz make lovely couples i think. always wondering when will it be my turn...
sat night was a session of fun yet again!! shimin organised a cards session at her house and it was lame and laughters as usual with the ppl present... shimin, kel, sik, jialiang, kok wei, sadi, me! all the lamest ppl on earth. if ur think i m lame, meet them... played asshole daidi, texas hold'em and 21.. it was quite draining thou. one whole night of cards with no sleep. but it was a sure surge of adrenaline rush at times.. then went to eat macs breakfast.. tried the mcgriddles. it was not v nice. too sweet. it tasted like hotcakes with sausage and egg. den as usual, went home to sleep in the day..
was supposed to go play bball on sun with shuling they all.. but i din hear the alarm clock at all. juz tells u how tired i was. by the time i woke up, it was already evening.. wanted to meet twin, xiaomei and xian at amk hub but my mum din wan me to go out again. mayb coz i have been spending too many nights out ba. asked them to come to my house but they din wan to, so din get to meet. sadzzz.. hope things are alright for xiaomei and twin... be strong! wanna meet this fri or sun? feel like catching up with ur.. tk carez gals. =)
mon was class outing day again! went to sing k at the always-talked-about $10 place at chinatown. woah! to my amaze, it was not bad at all! the flat screen tv was better than kbox or partyworld and there is freeflow of drinks. 5hours at $10 nett... coool. next time ur shld try, it's at smith street, but better book beforehand. 8 ppl went but at the end of it, only 5 ppl left. hahaz. some went gym halfway, some went home, some went dinner... but i was amazed again at the nice voices of the guys in our class. they can really sing and it has been long since i heard guys voice singing.. they sound like jay and li sheng jie... as for the gals, nice voices too! but we are more of the crazy type (not surprisingly).. it was quite a funny scene where u c gals dancing on the sofa and the guys trying hard to move along while sitting on the sofa. hahazz.. so glad tt so many ppl in our class sings! next time go china can sing until we are sicked of it, heard from my sis tt it's super cheap there, dunnoe whether it's true..
after tt, 4 of us went to eat dinner. yingshi had to leave for some other gathering.. she is leaving for US soon.. have fun gal!! it will definitely be a wonderful experience.. tk carez k! u will be missed...
so brendon, roger, meiling and i went to maxwell food center to eat dinner. i had porridge and it was worth the money.. v big bowl and it was nice.. can try next time.. heard tt it operates until late night.. after tt, we decided to go drink tea (recommended by brendon).. but he couldnt really rem where it was so we ventured around.. walked all the streets around maxwell but still couldnt find it.. but it was a nice walk to aid in digestion and observe the night life there.. so many pubs and clubs there and it was funny how the "gals" approached brendon and roger.. lolz. finally, we found the place.. it was juz a street away from maxwell food center but we went in the wrong direction! the place is called "cha2 yuan1"... nice place to learn about the art of drinking tea.. how to go about making a good cup of tea and stuff liddat.. reminded me of the tea appreciation session tt we had back then in anderson sec.. we went to a place in chinatown too i think.. cant really rem.. anw we had "pu2 er3", "ruo4 mi3 cha2" and jasmine tea... pu er tasted abit funny but ruo mi was nice, din know the existence of such a flavour of tea... had another chit-chat session or maybe more of gossiping session.. hahaz.. it was relaxing.. we sat there until they closed and then headed back home.. it was juz a short session coz we spent too much time looking for the place.. but it was a nice place to chill, can go again next time. nice recommendation brendon!
tue and wed was mj.. wed was a long booked mj day with hua ming (aka fan.. lolz), uncle kang and his friend.. it was nice to meet up with them again and as usual, it was 2 rounds of mj... not bad.. i m on a winning streak nowadays.. sometimes losing abit thou.. tue played with kat, sik and derrick (aka the pres high bball centre tt can shoot 3 pointers).. sadly for sik, he still cant break his losing streak.. lolz. find a time we play hk mj la. maybe u need tt as a turning pt.. lolz.. mj count up till now should be 4 ba.. not alot ba.. i m not du gui! lolz..
tml (act is today since it's past midnight) going to sing k again with friends. kbox at amk! with the old singing kaki, which is the crazy bunch... june, jingwen, meiling and i! sik and jialiang will be joining us too.. coz we always short of guys voices so we welcome any guys involvement. lolz..
tts about all the updates i have for now.. it has been all play and fun these few days.. needa get down to some serious work soon.. got to finish my ureca and do the full report by the end of june.. attend foc meetings and get things done.. tidy up my notes and reivse my tcm modules.. tts about my plan for this hols.. of coz not forgetting my trip to taiwan and the actual foc where i can get to know more ppl.. wat i really hope to achieve this hols is to revise my tcm modules. our school schedule is way too tight to allow us enough time to digest wat we have learnt.. and i dunwan to juz study for the sake of exams and forgetting it all after the exams.. it is going to be my career next time after all.. there's no point scoring all As but dunnoe how to treat patients.. i want to excel after i graduate.. so i needa get the lazy bones out of me and start working on the serious stuffs soon! i need to have an aim in life and live each day to its fullest (the latter might be part of my aim)..
i m anxious about the results too although it wun be out so early.. i expect good grades for all my modules except pharmaco.. coz i think the papers were all manageable except for pharmaco.. i was really angry at the tcm pharmaco teacher, her tips wun on the spot as she guranteed.. i was still hoping tt the tcm part can help to pull up the marks for the western medicine part, but i think it's the other way round now.. i can only have myself to blame for not studying enough.. there was juz too many drug names to remember.. i m praying for at least a B now.. but i think i might get a C.. fingers crossed..
i think studying at the level of intensiveness tt we are right now, it really drains a person out.. i felt sooo tired at the end of my 2nd paper tt i din wanna study for the last paper at all (which is pharmaco).. it really takes a lot of self-discipline and both mental and physical strength to carry on.. and self-discipline is what i m starting to lack sometimes.. it's getting lower and lower, i dunnow wats got into me but i gonna find it back soon! different ppl have different targets and goals to achieve and i know i cant achieve mine for this sem and mayb i shld say for yr 2.. sem 1 wasnt tt fantastic oso.. got the first B in my uni life.. and i m praying i dun get my first C this sem.. ppl might say i set too high expectations for myself and i m stressing myself too much, but this is wat i wan to achieve.. i dun like to see my GPA falling... and most importantly, i want to do well for my tcm modules..
so my moto for this hols: "play hard! study hard!"

it was juz a mj game. y did it turn out liddat. maybe i shouldnt have commented on it.. so if i remove it now does it still make a difference. so hey. i really do treasure u as my friend and i mean nothing from tt post. i was juz in a bad mood tt day as u can see from my following paragraph in tt post. but anw, i oso dunnoe whether i m wrong?? but i definitely know tt u mean more to me than spurs. spurs is juz my mum's friend, if u are still confused coz i nv really told u.. there's such a long story behind my family background tt it pains me juz to think about it. so i hope it's juz a misunderstanding and hey the money is not part of the matter at all, u know tt. friends really mean alot to me besides my mum and sisters, really. before i get all emo, mj next time again?
