today is such a boring day.. settled all my foc welfare matters today.. emailed sponsors and caterers and subcomms... now hafta wait for their replies le. i hope they reply me asap!! coz i leaving for taiwan next mon le. dunwan to pile everything up.. anybody gt any lobangs for caterers tell me k! i will really appreciate it..
these few days were really fun.. finally met up with my girlfriends for a swim last sun.. went to waterplace condo (my aunt's condo).. they were all late la.. zzzz. as usual.. lucky it din rain at kallang coz it was raining quite heavily in the north and we were contemplating to postpone it.. it was fun swimming with them, but i din noe twin dunnoe how to swim! so she juz soak herself in the water while we swam a few laps.. ying is so shen! she swam like 8 laps or so, while me and xiaomei decided to give up after 4 laps.. sooo tiring..
den we went over to the kids pool. played with those water curtains and the water is freaking cold! ying was reluctant to go thru those cold "curtains" so i dragged her along! woah.. shiok.. while twin and xiaomei enjoyed themselves too. den we took turns to play with the slide.. for half of it, we muz manually push ourselves along.. rather stupid looking.. and they kept laughing at me coz i couldnt see a thing if i dun have my goggles on.. they were like "tt daddy sooo cute" and keep commenting on all the ppl there..
then we went to the jacuzzi.. they are all so sensitive to hot water!! i went down like normal while they took like ages to come down.. they were complaining the water was way too hot but i tot it was alright leh.. their skin too thin la.. then we began our photo-taking session! chit-chatting half the time and simply juz enjoying ourelves.. there was this v cute ang moh small kid, but she din want to smile for us to tk pics of her.. lol.
after shower, it was more pic taking before we headed off for dinner. ying drove and we were so indecisive as to where to have dinner.. finally decided on ecp hawker and we were super lucky to get a parking lot the moment we got there.. hurrays! so we ordered all the sinful food, chicken wings, carrot cake, stingray, hokkien mee, popiah and coconut juice!! so heavenly...
went home after tt coz parking there was expensive.. on the car, it was more chit-chatting and i had to explain my joke to them.. y everybody dun understand my first joke tt i posted on my blog.. too intelligent.. hahaha!!
ying was super nice to send us all home although it wasnt really on the way.. she had to do a detour.. and twin was complaining most of the time! lol.. when i gt home, my family was watching the charity show to raise money for the china earthquake.. i watched abit and decided to donate my earnings from the belaying job.. encouraged my sis to donate too! it was for the kids whom have lost both parents to the earthquake and oso for the rebuilding of schools. this disaster had a much bigger impact on me compared to others, dunnoe y.. maybe bcoz it was of much similarity to the earthquake tt happened in taiwan years ago.. i was more connected emotionally and felt the urge to help them thou my efforts werent huge.. thinking back, it was kinda scary.. on tt day, an after-quake happened at ard 4pm plus in china.. even beijing felt the tremors.. imagine tt happening to spore and we were still happily swimming and enjoying ourselves.. we shld be glad tt we are strategically protected, but life is juz so unpredictable.. treasure everyone ard u for every moment!
ok.. not to emo too much.. anw i swam on sat too! juz tt it's dry swimming.. lol. played mj with huiyun, her cousin and ying jin.. they were crazy!! we played for 5 rds can u believe it.. played from 6pm to 6am.. from last train to night rider to first train.. lol.. but i was winning so i din have the say.. played until the songs on the radio kept repeating.. longest i have played since i started mj-ing... but not healthy for the body la.. got scolded by my mum.. hahaz.. but nowadays i m not so addicted to mj anymore.. i wait for ppl to jio me, i dun go ard jio-ing ppl le.. maybe too much mj during this period, or maybe i found more fulfilling things to do..
ystd was another fun-filled day!! went out with wee meng.. we met at city hall and went to lunch at the much-talked-about shokudo jap food bazaar. they adopted the marche concept and it was not too bad.. ate until super full! and it was v nice of him to treat me to ice cream (kept to his promise) and rosti.. we had 4 flavoured ice creams! shuang!! one of them was black sesame and we kept wondering wat will white sesame taste like. lol. it was super funny.. laugh until crazy.. next time we confirm muz go try wat white sesame taste like!
den we wanted to go catch a movie at marina square.. coz wo ji bai nian nv watch movie le.. lol. inside joke.. but there were only like 4 movies screening at tt cinema.. and all wasnt nice.. pathetic.. so we decided to bowl instead. and we really make lousy liars.. first we wanted to lie tt he was under 21 so he cld use the student package too. but failed, after which we realised student pass gt no D.O.B la.. shld have juz bluffed.. then we wanted to lie tt i was wearing socks when i was wearing heels.. so he said we were both wearing socks when the person asked, but i din hear his reply and the person asked again. so i tot the person was getting suspiscious so i said i wasnt wearing socks.. lol!! so we failed at both attempts.. so super funny again.. so we bowled 2 games and it was damn fast. coz only 2 ppl playing.. i deproved super alot, coz i think the ball was too heavy and my thigh hurts now from the bending.. really too long nv exercise le.. first rd we scored 55 and 99 respectively.. v nice numbers.. then 2nd rd we scored 67 and 97.. nice numbers too.. then i said "my score had a difference of 12 and we were at lane 12.. it was all planned" lol.. then he said i really everything oso can link sia... but the ppl playing beside us was pretty irritating coz they tried all kinds of style to roll the ball and bcoz they were to our right, they had the right of way if we were preparing to bowl at the same time..
was still pretty early so we decided to go shopping! GSS! i bought two tops, one from zara and one from topshop.. and bought two sandals (flats), one from C&K, one from D&C.. shiok!! shopping spree.. finally found my flats.. been looking for it for sooo long le.. but now abit broke le.. spent ard 100 bucks ystd.. wallie was nice to shop ard the ladies section together with me.. he gt pretty gd taste too wor.. provided suggestions while i tried on the clothes.. he was looking for shirt and saw some pretty nice ones, but he said he will buy next time.. den i said goodbye to him and met up with my family.. wallie, u know my sis and my mum said u look totally diff from the last time they saw u.. haha. i tot u din change at all leh.. and the funny thing was i lent him the wrong season of grey's anatomy.. he wanted season 4 (which was y we met in the first place).. next time if i gt den lend u k!
den went to eat dinner at riverside indonesian restaurant at clarke quay.. louis wanted to treat us coz he haven treated us since the time he gt his first pay.. food was nice but was too full! ate until my limit.. thanz louis!! met his sister too.. helped her solved a sudoku puzzle on her nintendo ds.. lol.. have been wanting to get it since a few months back.. but kept thinking whether it was worh it.. anyone wanna buy one for me for my bdae?? i will definitely love it! i can half sponsor it if it is too expensive.. lol..
then we took cab home.. the taxi stand at central is so weird la.. it's at basement one.. and there will only be taxi if the concierge helps u to dial for one.. and u hafta spend more than $30 to get tt service.. anw, a well-spent day!! tml will be meeting my girlfriends again for dinner! yays...
