i m back from sbs camp!!!
OPNA 2008 has definitely been a success! 3 cheers to the 6th OMC for a great job done! Hip Hip Hooray! =) a big thank you to everyone for making my last foc in sbs a fabulous one. it was indeed a new experience to go through the camp as part of the organising committee. although there are some mixed feelings involved, i still felt blessed to be able to go thru all these with all of your!
from the OMC member point of view, the camp taught me alot of things, from planning to reacting to last minute situations to handling stress and functioning even with serious lack of sleep. most of the time was spent with OMC members, esp kailing, my fellow welfare officer. if not for her, i dun think i wld have survived! thanz kl! u r the best! sorry tt u were under so much stress and i din notice.. was really shocked when u broke down tt day. big hugz and be strong k, we survived!! we went thru thick and thin together and i m sure all OMC members wld agree tt this yr's OMC was more than just everybody doing the best for their posts. it's more abt teamwork and how we went out of the way to help each other out and how we shared the joy and sorrow of the camp together. OPNA to me is not just the 5 days tt are presented to the freshies, it's the 10 months of hardwork before tt. so jac jac stop blaming urself for not doing much during the camp. u did a fantastic job before the camp! if not we wun have our goodie bags and sponsors! lol. every posts have different working periods, but i m sure everyone in the OMC did a wonderful job! i m starting to miss the foc days. 5 days seem to fly pass so quickly. miss the cheers, laughters, environment, sweat, and of coz the ppl!
from the MIRA senior point of view, i m actually quite sadz.. maybe because i din get to spend alot of time with them. was mostly busy with OMC stuff. but i already knew tt this will happen if i join OMC, so nothing to complain abt. i was juz reading yin yue's blog, they seem to have so much fun together and MIRA definitely is a very enthu grp! reminds me of GAJUGA and ISIS.. i really miss those times.. kinda sadz tt i m not close to them, because they seem like yet another group tt will keep in contact for a v long time, juz like gajuga and isis. it juz so happens tt the group i m in for every foc always seems to be the most united one. ISIS was the best teamwork group and MIRA was the most united group! GAJUGA needless to say, is the best OG in my heart! but nvm, the memories i shared with OMC were as valuable as those tt i imagined i wld have with MIRA. i juz found out today tt they are going to have a MIRA outing today.. so sadzz.. nobody told me abt it.
so now is the time to sum up everything for foc.. we are going to have a meeting tml and it's time to start preparing for orientation day too. time to tidy up my room and notes! time to settle down and prepare myself for the start of school. tt day i was having dinner with my mum, ah yi and yi zhang. they brought up the yu ren sheng scholarship issue.. coz 2 of my seniors gt the scholarship, it is abt 40K i think. so they were saying next yr is my turn le.. although i know they are joking and tell me not to be stressed abt it, i really wanna set tt as my goal and reach it..
