here i m again. i realised i like to blog in blocks. whenever i start to get the blog mood den i will blog alot, den it will be followed by a drought. it's 2am now & i m still blogging! can u believe it, especially when i only slept 3hrs ystd. i think my body clock is going crazy. so pardon me if my phrasing sounds weird and if there's alot of spelling errors coz i cant really think straight now..
anw forgot to mention abt something in my previous entry. gt a new bball from sports comm as my bdae gift.. yeah! happiness. been wanting to get a bball for long since i lost 2 in NTU. and juz nice the court near my house juz opened, i can have some secret training le. lol. thanz sports comm!
one more thing, health alert! pls dun apply "yoko yoko" or similar products excessively on ur body. it can cause poisoning. learnt from the physician at tong chai hospital tt a person died because he applied too much. reason being the poisonous contents can seep through ur skin and enter ur body system..
ok now back to this post.. went for say kai's bdae party tt day at parc oasis. i went to parc vista instead la! so blur of me.. anw it was woderful to meet up with the oac ppl again. but i was kinda late so din catch up much.. Happy Birthday Say Kai!
ystd was a super super hectic day. cannot emphasize more on the word super. in the morning went to tong chai hospital for intern. den out of the blue sheng jun ask me lunch with him and tat chong. so we went dempsey to eat the barbeque korean food. it was nice! muz try! den it started the mad rush of the day. tat chong and i was supposed to meet yih sheng at 2pm at yishun mrt den go to a friend's house to play mj. but we were still at dempsey at 2pm!! omg.. so sj drove us back to my house and i drove my car to yishun. by the time we reached, it was already near 3pm. felt quite bad coz i dun like to make ppl wait... den along the way there were sooo many red lights.. it's always liddat. when u are in a rush, suddenly all the lights turn red. so tts the 1st rush.
den we were to supposed to meet xiaojun, zheyi and cheng shang for dinner (curry fish head) at beauty world at 545pm. but we left yishun around 530pm! to add on to the situation, my car was running out of petrol, so i needa find a petrol station before heading down. but we couldnt find so in the end i took the lornie rd way (spc along the way) to beauty world. it was much longer and slower, so we reached beauty world at 630pm! tts the 2nd rush.
we thought the hwa chong MAF (mid-autumn festival) lighting up is at 7pm so we hafta rush back to hwa chong again. in the end we reached ard 715pm. but the lighting up was only at around 730pm. so we caught it. tts the 3rd mini rush.
MAF is a traditional yearly event tt hwa chong will celebrate. it's quite a grand celebration with all generations of hwa chong-ians going back. there's even adults who bring their children along. tts the hwa chong spirit! i feel so heartwarming everytime i go back for MAF, it's juz such a nice feeling. u get to catch up with all ur jc tutors again and it's so sweet tt they still remember ur face and name. this year's lightings was a job well done! i like it much more than last year's. but i din get to sing the hwa chong songs!! coz was rushing off. super sad. i really like those songs.. and of coz the met up with oac ppl! took photos before i rushed off. and it started pouring after tt. so sad! it's the first MAF tt i've been to tt rained. for the next 2 years, i won't be able to attend MAF coz i will be in Beijing. tts sad...
den huang fang, eileen, yuning (dunnoe if the spelling is right) and i hafta rush off for amanda's bdae party. it started at 630pm, but we decided to go for MAF first before going over. the cake cutting session was at 9pm so we planned to reach at 9. but we left hc only at 840pm. the sad part is, we felt neither here nor there. bcoz we din get to join in the song singing and mass dance sessions in hc, and we oso din get to enjoy amanda's party. and her party was at simei! like super far away. and it was really pouring v v heavily. the worst thing is we dunnoe how to get there coz i dun usually drive to the east. i only know my way till tpe den we started getting lost about where to exit. so we tried calling different ppl to ask and one of them said there is a simei exit, so we happily drove along tpe in search of the simei exit.. and the next thing we know, we are at changi le. super sianz! after much detours, we FINALLY got to her condo. by the time i sat down in her house, i was feeling so drained. imagine driving at 120km/hr on a wet road and on a pouring night. the vision was juz horrible. my heart was racing abit but i kept in mind safety as well. so dun worry.. so we reached her party at 10pm plus. super horrible bcoz she was waiting for us to cut cake! and all her friends had to wait as well. we felt super bad.... tts the 4th rush.
the cake was nice and her bf flew back specially from australia to give her a surprise. such a sweet and happy couple.. Happy birthday Amanda!!
so tts the hectic day in summary. when i was at her party, i felt really tired and this is the FIRST time i ever felt SICK of driving. i was stoning when something juz ended my day on a wrong note. dun feel like talking abt it here but tts the few rare times u will get to see me angry..
tts not the end of the day! i played mj again at night with jee peng, his gf and her friend, at my house. tts y i ended up sleeping for only 3 hrs.. but at least i won back my petrol fee. ystd night i spent a whole 20 bucks on petrol alone. i find my car fuel consumption getting less and less efficient nowadays. maybe it's really getting a little too old.
today i still went for bball with shuling and gang thou i really felt tired. maybe coz wanted to talk to shuling ba, and let off some gas by playing bball.. it turned out to be a really nice session! dunnoe wat got into me today, but i juz felt like doing lay ups and not juz settle for shots. maybe i felt like running more. ended the session with a satisfying defence game. it's all about running around more. i did quite ok but still needa practise more on this kinda hook shots and floaters. shuling was surprised to see me do so many layups. haha. maybe muz discover the potential in me. lol. felt really good to try something new once in awhile. makes me feel like practising more.. so shuling, now u know what to do during matches to make me more shen right.. muahaha.. our little secret. =p
learnt something new abt cars today. if ur car is cruising at a rpm higher than the normal value, it probably means tt you are driving at low gear. just need to gently release the accelerator and the car will change to higher gear. if it still does not work, it probably means tt ur car has a low gear speed auto transmission, which is not v gd bcoz the rpm will always be pretty high and it's not fuel efficient. the above applies for auto car.. hahaz.. hope i gt this right..
anw juz now i was talking to my "xiao di" lionel poh online, it was a super duper funny and entertaining conversation because of shirleen's involvement. lol. anw told him i will blog something abt him so tt he can come visit my blog. hahaz.. he is my sec sch friend and actually we seldom chat until recently juz got to meet him again at nat's bdae party. he changed again since the last time i saw him! now more good-looking wor as compared to last time with the long hair look. and i found out he plays mj too! lol.. confirm muz find a time to play together k! go organise one with raymond they all! haven seen them in ages too.. and bball too. play together some time... tk carez of ur knee k and survive in army! lol...
tts abt it for my pretty interesting wkend. now is studies time! starting from today (mon), i needa follow my revision timetable le. dunwan to do last minute studying again. it's torturous.
super long post, i took one hr plus to blog.. but pretty interesting! lol. getting hungry from all the typing, shall resist the food and go to sleep.. tts all folks! =)
