first week of school!
pretty slack but i can feel the stress already, maybe juz abit.. our tcm quiz is coming up real soon. like 1 and a half weeks later. so early!! and we dun even have the txtbk yet..
our teachers this sem are all nice i think! 温病学 teacher is super sarcastic! but she is v funny in her own way and she has the taiwanese slang of speaking. she uses phrases like "N 多次", which is so taiwanese! maybe tts y i like her.. hahaz. and she got endless stories to tell to make the lessons more interesting. i din fall asleep for any of the lessons, which is quite an achievement! lol.
pathology teacher is cool too! he's from SGH and he got specs like those of 方大同. lol. he's really animated and funny too. this is wat i call a good lecturer. able to deliver his knowledge in class and not juz reading off slides. sbs has none. they shld recruit more lecturers like him, seriously. but the module itself sounds quite scary. he said tt the average grade the seniors gt was C, pretty sledom wld u see an A or a B. at tt moment, i was thinking there goes my 4.5. lol. but i m sure i can do it!
virology teacher was not bad too. but i dun have high hopes for sbs lecturers. lol. shall observe further for the remaining lectures. anw, i m so proud of myself for reading the notes before the lecture! hahaz. it's been sthing i wanted to achieve ever since yr 1, but nv did. a few months ago, i was telling june and wm tt i muz achieve it this sem, since it's my last sem in NTU. lol. i hope i can keep it up for the remaining lectures, and not just lec 1!
anw we had a talk this week and prof tam (the creator of the double degree program) told us tt 9 seniors failed their first sem in beijing and only 1 gt A. sounds pretty scary. and he was saying we will get a 3rd degree from NTU when we come back (but it sounds more like he is saying sthing tt is not even finalised). anw after we grad, we will need to clock 400hrs of clinical practice before we can sit for the licensing exam in spore. so we will be coming back ard july in 2011 and the licensing exam is held every yr in oct. tt means we probably wun have enough time, so we gotta take the exam the following yr. hence, we can only bcum licensed physician in the year 2012. sounds like a long way to go...
i wanna blog abt my egypt trip but sthing seems to be wrong with either my laptop or my blog. i cant upload photos onto my blog so it's pointless to blog since it'll be so boring without photos.
