how many bad things can happen in a day (28th may)..
1) man utd losing in champions league
2) losing streak for mj
3) cells getting contaminated with bacteria
4) rejected for scholarship
all these happened in a time span of 24hrs. how depressing can tt get. not to mention tt i got a parking fine 2 days before this unlucky day..
so gotta throw away all the stuff and re-make all the solutions and sterilize all the working areas. finally can start the expt again this coming monday. hope nothing goes wrong again. act i am a little sick of lab already. but still gotta hang on! so pls be nice, cells!
kinda expected to be rejected for scholarship since i wasnt really prepared for the theory test. but kinda sad coz to think of it, i have never succeeded in applying for anything i wanted, be it scholarship, course of study etc.
i promised myself tt i will start drafting my thesis when june comes. cannot keep putting it off le. so tt means more papers to read and less mj sessions during wkdays when i end early in lab. gambatte!! now i am going to watch 败犬女王 and later in the evening might be going down to support the car wash event done by the cambodia peeps.

OH MY GOD!!!
I am totally stunned by my results, in a good way thou.. now i got a shot at keeping my first class. all i need is an A for my fyp. so much more motivation for fyp now!!
I was prepared for the worse bcoz of the tough modules but in the end, patho gt A- thou the teacher told us during the first lesson tt the average grade for the seniors were C. ge jia got B thou i din know the answers for 60marks of the test. viro and wen bing gt my expected results.. cannot really believe it although it is not terrific results, but my fyp matters to me now. gpa is currently 4.44 (such an unlucky number).. juz 0.06 short of first class. can u imagine how sian i would be if there is no fyp to keep my hopes alive. lol.. anw i always do better for BS modules and i have more confidence in them.. so i wonder why i am in BMS now.. kinda inappropriate right.. hmmm..
ystd went for the scholarship test and another stunning thing. but this time in the bad way. guess how many ppl went for it?? 9!!! so few.... maybe i should feel honoured thou it's only the first round. but maybe only 10+ ppl applied? u nv know.. muahahaz..
we were all stunned bcoz we thought it's a test of 基础, so we all went to study tt module again.. in the end, it was 2 case studies and 2 general questions. case studies are usually what we dread in exams bcoz we juz cant rem all the 方剂.. think they might laugh when they review our answers.. the 2 general questions were alright. they asked about the values of a good physician and how we can gain trust and credibility with the patients. i wrote integrity, attitude, responsibility, willingness to learn, daring but at the same time stick to the principles etc... juz to name a few.. results will be out in 1 to 2 weeks time.. not holding much hopes, but it will be a bonus to be able to get into the next round of interview..
i am happy today.. although i juz lost at mj and my expt results din really follow the trend i wanted.. =)

but i din get to see their moment juz now, coz i went to watch the nonya drama with my mum. of coz it's free tix, tts y we went.. it was not bad. but typical spore production. singing wasnt perfect but they do have several good laughing points..

blogging in lab again! this shows how slack i am. lol. today din do anything at all in lab. all i did was facebook, blog, mails, study for my scholarship test. none related to lab! lol.. and guess wat. i already have a set of results to use.. ystd i analyzed my results for the first round of work, not tt bad.. happy.. now gotta repeat but trying out other conditions. but muz wait for the cells to grow to a certain confluency first! and it's like growing at a rate of 10% per day.. super slow!! dunnoe y oso. tts y these few days i gt nthing much to do. totally at the mercy of the cells. haha..
later going jb to pump petrol and eat seafood with oac friends again.. fun! but i am having a little headache now, maybe bcoz i spent too much time looking at the comp. or maybe coz eric has got a headache too! ya i know, totally no link.. =p

HAPPY MOTHER'S DAY!!! 
louis, adrian, me, sisters, mum, adrian's mumystd was mother's day! went to celebrate at aquamarine @ marina mandarin hotel.. it was an asian style lunch buffet. not as fantastic as i imagined it to be, maybe bcoz of the asian theme. expected more of a seafood theme, but it's the company tt matters. =)
Every year, we do self-made cards for mother's daythank you mum for everything u've done! i know it's been hard and u are really a tough woman. always my idol!love u forever! muackz...

haven blog for quite awhile. anw man u is in the champions league finals!! totally deserving.. killed off the game in juz 10mins. way to go! now is barca's turn..
these few days were really tiring. tue slept for 1hr den ystd slept for 2hrs.. lunch has always been at 4pm for the past few days, because of lab. all the weird timings but i guess i am used to it le. i can eat 2 meals a day now and not feel hungry.
blogging in lab now bcoz gotta wait 1hr plus for the cell to grow. later still muz go for tuition! i wanna go home and sleep!
ystd night was games session at shimin's house. the usual gang turned up and we had lotsa fun! we tried playing uno stacko and jenga together by stacking them on top of each other. super challenging and was hilarious! after tt played cluedo. it was my first time playing tt game and i think it's fun! test ur analytical skills.. then we played snatch scrabble. the game was dominated by sik, jialiang and sadi. they are juz too fast.. ended the night with asshole daidee. by the time i reached home, it was already 5am! and i reached school at 8am today.. zzzzz
oh wanna mention the 9 tai game tt i won at mj tt night!! super exiciting and it feels so shiok to game 9 tai! had 2 animals plus zhong, fa cai, nan, and pong pong ban se. my biggest win in a game to date. and it was on the night tt man u won.. happiness! tt night my house turned into a gambling den again. played mj, texas holdem and 21 until 7 plus am.. of coz it's with the crazy bunch of zhenyou, jinkok, kunting and sik again!

i am back from KL! it was a pretty relaxing trip. had fun travelling with them.. shall blog about the trip some other time..
ystd was the first day of fyp. din do much. prepared all the necessary solutions and did some literature research. gotta wait till tml for the cells to be ready. eric said tt next week will be a busy week.
anw on thurs (30th april), was out with my mum for the whole afternoon. it was great to spend time together and revert back to the old times. we went to chinatown to book hotel for her bintan trip with my aunts. all my aunts are coming to spore in june! how exciting.. looking forward to their stay here. while she was doing her booking, i was observing this foot massage shop opposite the agency. so we decided to go do a foot massage and it was my first time! it was painful, trust me.. but it was a wonderful day for me.
it's gonna be soccer and mj again later! nowadays upgraded to playing maximum 10 tai with jinkok, kunting and zhenyou.. but their luck is really good. always zi mo no matter the guarding skills. before i left for KL, we had this "mj camp" going on at my house. they came to my house for 3 consecutive days and i think we played nearly 30hrs of mj. even my mum said tt we are abit mad. lol. but mj can be so addictive, dun u agree? we were saying next time we should live near each other, but liddat really no need to work le. hahaz.
