it's monday again! monday blues, so here i am blogging. got nthing much to do in lab today and i am feeling kinda sick. so shall blog abt some happy stuff to brighten up the day. upload photos some other day..
celebrated my bdae with meiling, junie, june, jingwen, michelle on 10th june. act it was a combined celebration for june (10th june), junie (25th june) and my bdae. went to mr curry at the central and as usual, we gossiped! laughed at all the weirdos in our school and not forgetting the one person tt we do not fail to mention everytime during our gatherings. it was a lovely evening and we are meeting again on 22nd! sembawang buckaroo it will be. thank you meiling for tking all the trouble to organize the outing! loves..
friday morning and afternoon were spent in lab analyzing my results. but it wasnt boring at all. lunch was settled at sakae sushi in NTU with shuling, huangfang, yueyou. our fav orders for the day were avocado and salmon! almost all the sushi we ordered contain either of them. it was a relaxing lunch and thanz for the treat!
dinner was yet another celebration with my family, at jumbo seafood. i love the dinner bcoz my aunts are here in spore and it's a rare chance for them to celebrate it with me. so it was a big gathering with my aunts, uncles, sisters and bfs and mum! had a sumptious spread and of coz not forgetting the cake and photo-takings. i totally love this kind of simple gatherings.

saturday i carried out my duty as a tour guide and brought my aunts around sentosa. but they werent v fascinated by the stuffs bcoz taiwan seems to have better versions of them. stayed at amara sanctuary resort, not worth the price i wld say.
sunday was shopping at vivo! finally bought my new phone! samsung ultra touch.. thanz sisters!! love it.. =) no problems for now.. in the evening, went to mt faber and visited the henderson wave. it was my first time there too. nthing v special, but i guess it will look much nicer at night with all the lightings. at night went to jb to pump petrol with adrian driving his car too. super exciting experience, bcoz we were competing to see whos luck was better with all the queues. we ended up reaching home at the same time! cool... both experienced drivers.
today was pretty bored in lab until juz moments ago when sthing super stupid and funny happened. i was reading a paper on my laptop and left my laptop on the table when i went to do my stuff in lab. when i came back, i realised that the paper was in the background and i cant seem to close it. so i restarted my laptop but the paper was still there. den i tot sthing was wrong with my laptop. den eric and prof li started laughing!! so they were the ones tt changed my laptop wallpaper to the paper. no wonder it cant be closed! lame! and eric was still saying tt this is considered mild. last time they tried changing someone's screensaver to error messages, so tt it will keep popping up. scary! lab ppl are easily entertained dun u agree.. lol!
ps. thank you sisters for the phone and meiling for the cap! i love them.. thank you to all those who wished me happy bdae too! this wld probably be my last bdae in spore for the next 2yrs...

human beings really are a unique species. one moment u can feel so motivated and happy, but an image or a word can suddenly trigger so many thoughts in ur mind tt makes ur mood swing juz liddat.
ever wondered whats ur purpose in life??
to meet someone u deeply love?
to earn big bucks and lead a luxurious life?
to pursue ur dreams?
to fight for survival?
to make an impact on someone else's life or even the world?
or simply to wake up everyday juz so tt u can look forward to the next?
many a times ppl juz live for the sake of living. isn't tt sad? days juz pass by without u noticing it. and even if u know what ur purpose in life is, do u know how to go about achieving it? no wonder ppl say life is tough....
u grow up with ppl telling u u are the best. even when schooling gets tougher and the society gets more complicated as u grow up, u are expected to keep tt faith in them. so is it more difficult to be the one holding the faith or the one tt keeps the faith alive? tough to say huh. to complicate things further, is the faith tt they are holding the same as the one in ur heart? if not, whos do u pursue?
so many questions but no answers. i guess there are no absolute answers to all this. sometimes u juz wish tt maybe after a drink or two, the answers will present themselves to u. but 5 drinks still din work out for me. but i totally enjoyed tt night. carefree and quiet. maybe tts the purpose in life. thank you for the company. it was great.
an apple for dinner is not healthy. (but an apple a day keeps the doctor away.. hmmm)
i juz wish for my cells to grow well! please.... stop giving me weird results tt even post-doc cant explain and stop dying! i really need ur coorporation to keep the faith alive. i really do.
