1st post of 2010!!
haven been having the blogging mood for very long. had so much to share but now tt the timing is no longer right, i'll juz let it remain in my heart and mind.
so it's the first time i am celebrating new year in a foreign land. we (my housemates, and deqiang and yinyue) decided to go pubbing so we first explored 南锣鼓巷. it's a really nice place with alot of small shops tt sell unique items. but the weather was way too cold and the pubs there are too small. so we decided to go 后海 instead. it's a whole street of pubs with diff themes. juz like clarke quay in spore. it's oso located along the river banks. we chose "后海5号" bcoz the live band was performing english songs when we walked pass. turned out to be a great choice! the band was really good, with a mix of english and chinese songs. alcohol was ex. as usual, yinyue and i drank our hearts out. we each had 2 shots (B-52, angel kiss), 2 cocktails, and a beer. totalled to be 230rmb.. anw we wasnt even feeling high before the last beer, so we decided to get tt beer, cheapest way to get high.. lol. anw at abt 10 plus, 小陈 came to join us. rem him? he is the young 推拿 teacher at the hospital. only 20, but his skills are good! so we enjoyed the great music and great company until abt 1am.
after tt, 小陈 jio-ed his friend to go singing with us. but only yinyue and i went. so the 4 of us went singing at haoledi. super crowded, wait until we lost the high mood already.. but it was a diff kind of singing experience. interesting i wld say. yinyue was damn amazed tt i know some of the china songs tt they were singing. she was giving me the "what the hell" face. lol. hilarious! cannot stop laughing.. sang from 3am to 6am.. totally maxed out from all the high-ness and alcohol (had 2 more bottles while singing).. luckily his friend drove us home. tt was how the last night of 2009 was spent! great company i wld say.. =)
my whole mind is thinking abt this one thing now! woke up juz now and din touch my book at all. think i am gonna die for this exams. instead i listened to music, stared into blank space, sms-ed, drank finish the bacardi left over from ystd.. still confused.. why muz there be this major factor! if not, all will be great i think.. hmm. should i?
